A Rather Busy Day Wow, today was really busy. I woke and at 7 , bathed and i'm off! Hah, i went to the National Dental Hospital to check my teeth for compatiblity with braces. In fact, i was diagnosed with a "crowded tooth-line" ( heh i made this word), so i will have to be removed of 4 teeth, 2 from the top and bottom respectively. Yea, u might be thinking, "holy cow, 4 teeth?!?! ". I must admit, it was pretty shocking, but luckily, in attempt to show my courage in front of pretty dentist, i remained calm and cool. Then, another shocking news followed. It was gonna cost a jaw-dropping four thousand dollars. Even though i was kinda prepared for this, it was nonetheless "gulp"ing when i first heard it. Anyway, after i left, my mom who accompanied me brought me to orchard road for some shopping (hers, not mine). There came another shock, i was in bermudas and sandals! Shopping in orchard road, the hip-iest part of Singapore in sandals!?! Come on, that must be a mistake! Lol , i got through this embarrassment and continued my journey. After some hours, i was holding the support on the MRT, on my way home. Well, i dont know why, but i decided to check out the dentist at S-11 on my way home. Well, undeniably, the place seems posh from the outside, but as soon as i stepped in, i realised it was a mistake all together - to visit this dentist. I realised i should have made an appointment earlier so i wouldn't have to wait meaninglessly for an hour! Anyway, i was quite disturbed by the fact that me, a potential customer, was to wait uncomfortably in the crowded clinic. Before long, i left. I guess this might be one of the busiest day of my life, i've never done so many stuff at anyone time. Cya and stay tuned! |
