Shopping on Orchard Road Sorry it has been so long since i updated the blog. Whoa... today was a super tiring day. I went to orchard road with lots (well, if u can count, its not exactly alot) of ppl. There was Weiqing, Elmer, Jianhong, Eugene, Yifeng and Yinyong. The story started at the 291 bus-stop. Not-so-surprising, Weiqing was late. I arranged to meet him at 9.40 but he came at about 9.50 with some crap excuse (lmao jk). Anyway we took a bus to the MRT station to meet the rest of the gang. At the station, weiqing came out with this ingenious idea of using the other escalator to catch the guys off their feets as they were waiting at the other escalator. Well, as soon as we met, i realised most of the guys were sleepy and wilson wasnt there. Seems like wilson missed home and yinyong didnt get enough of his beauty sleep lol. (Oh yah, previously these peeps were staying overnight at elmer's house) Anyway we took a train to this station which i didnt bother to remember the name lol. Yifeng was reading a book during the entire journey (i mean of all things, he had to READ?!? lol, no offence to yifeng) while yinyong didnt give a damn and fell asleep. The rest of us were chit-chatting. We soon reached our destination thanks to the the efficient transportation in our lovely Singapore (and dun sue me, i aint being sarcastic). We checked out John Little, spend some time there and checked out some shirts. We decided that it was too early to decide on which shirt to buy. We checked out the other malls, blah blah, had lunch, blah blah, went to some Sony retailers, blah blah and the final blah put us back to John Little - the reason being it has more variety of shirts and had a price for it. (Blah, ok i admit it, i'm cheapskate! The sole reason was the PRICE!) Anyway we quickly picked out the nicer shirts. Basically elmer's and mine shirt will be the same pattern but different colours. Weiqing couldnt find anything suitable, so he decided to do his shopping else where. Later we went to BATA to get some leather shoes for elmer. Well, he got some great shoes and so did i. I even wore the new shoes home though i couldnt bear to bend it even a little. It seems like these peeps were tired after all the shopping and we decided to go home. We had to sqeeze like atoms in the "Ionic Bond" in the MRT because some ppl dun listen to me and alight at City Hall to switch tracks instead of the Raffles Place i suggested (stares at Elmer =.= lol). Anyway, the gang spilt on the way home. Yifeng and Yinyong alighted at Tanah Merah MRT station to get to the Expo for some fair. Elmer stayed on the train to alight at Pasir Ris while the rest of us alighted at Tampines. Eugene decided to go home. So did jianhong, but weiqing decided to chill out at Tampines Mall instead. I followed. We were seriously chilling out. Weiqing tried to find a shirt in his last attempt of the day. Later we went to Toy R' Us. Remember the extremely cute toys that i saw in my previous entries? This time i took a picture of it. Well this is pretty much "it". Here are some pictures i took for the day.
