Prom OK! Today i'm gonna blog about the first EVER... It all started on this sunny day (oh well whatEVER! Lol). It was around 12.30pm and guess who arrived at my house (uninvited). Justin and Desmond!?!? Well, apparently, desmond was accompanying justin to get his (amazingly unformal) blazer from tampines mall. Desmond decided to buy some wax and had come to my house to style his hair with justin's help. Well, i dun even think justin helped. In fact, he just sat there and laughed as desmond screwed his hair big time. (yea trust me, it was THAT bad). Well, desmond then decided to wash his hair to get rid of that menace on his hair. He also wanted to go cut his hair (but of course as u can see, he didnt. Not to call him a liar... but well, he lied! Lol). Well after a while, Runguang came. U might be surprised at this, but he came all the way from who-knows-where (some far away place), all the way to tampines (my house), to catch a cab with me, justin and wilson. His reason was "My dad cant drive me there coz hes city-noob (of course he didnt say that, but i think he probably meant that. But definitely, no offence to Uncle!). Well then we went to justin's hse to style my hair. I wouldnt say he did a terirfic job, but it was nonetheless a job well done. And hell did i almost went bald (coz he was pulling and shoving and busy fighting the curls in my hair Lol!). Well the time was up. We had arranged to meet wilson. As we boarded the cab, guess who "accidentally" forgot to bring his tickets? Who else other than our Mr Blur King, aka Polar Bear! Lol, then taxi driver like abit "bu shuang", but who cares, our spirits arent dampened! .... yet. Then we got on the cab and went to pick up wilson whos just a street away. Yea.. he could have just come to meet us (and catch a cab together), but i guess he didnt like to walk (jiao luan mah), Lol. Then we finally reached our much awaited destination. The fare was around $16, not too bad considered the place was quite far away. But guess what time did we reached Raffles Town Club? (The place we're having prom). Yea 5.30pm. So we waited an hour as all the pretty and handsome ladies and gentleman arrive. Well speaking of "pretty", the girls were really an eye-opener. Not that what they're wearing are too revealing, but i never expected them to look sooo gorgeous after abit of dressing-up (and peeps like weiqing and wilson, u dun have to comment on this part lol). But guys, dun be jealous, all of u were extremely good-looking too! Well the evening started at around 7pm. The food was not bad (well, u know what i mean :P). We had some games and some competition. One in particular was the one which we had to aquire some stuff. One of which is a striped shirt off the body. Well, my table thought that they could pull it off with justin's blazer, but then when the emcees wanted to see whose shirt is it, they found out that it wasnt really a shirt. They then called justin to strip, HAHA! U should have seen the look on justin's face. It wasnt one that could be easily expressed in words. It was kinda... a mix of shock and uneasyness. Like slightly constipated but yet not really so. Well, its hard to explain... Anyway, "the guy" whom i dunno his name, stripped of course, behind the boards. I think he was pretty courageous, but i'm betting he did it partially to impress his girlfriend, Lol. Well, the event ended with the crowning of Mr and Miss Ngee Ann, Prom king and queen. Pu Yuan and some girl won (lol i only remembered Pu Yuan coz he was my primary school mate). Anyway i wasnt really satisfied with the results (well probably because i'm more attracted to the others ;) ). Then there was a round of photo-taking. I remember myself yelling "I'm available!" countless of times, but eventually few came to take a picture with me (yea.. so sad There were Yifeng, Vick, Justin, Weiqing, Elmer, Jianhong, Wilson, Aaron. We took a bus (which only had one ghastly passenger) to Orchard . We joked quite alot on the bus, and weiqing suggested that they start criticising my hair to stop me from making cold jokes. Well, it didnt work of course! Picture this, "Close to ten people jaywalking (i dunno how is it spelt) across a close to 8 lane road". Thats exactly what we did. Strangely, there wasnt any vehicle or we would have been resting-in-peace by now. Well, we took a nightwalk around the place. Took some pictures with me stealing the limelight... stuff like that Weiqing wanted to take a leak but couldnt find such a place to "accommodate his needs". In the end, the whole group of us went to this puny but classy toilet at a hotel. At first, I thought that the doorman will chase us off, but he probably got intimidated by the crowd so he didnt even bothered about us. Then we decided to take a seat at Macdonald's. An unfortunate thing happened as we realised the Mac at Orchard Road, the busiest place in town, at a period close to X'mas, WASNT OPEN 24HRS for some days. What the hell man... the place with the highest possibility of a nightlife didnt even have a fast food restuarant that opens at night?!? I thought Singapore had a pool of locations for nightlives, but i was definitely disappointed. Especially when X'mas was around the corner... Well, because of this, we had to go home (aww...). I shared a cab with Justin, Jianhong and Eugene. On the cab, we overtook Elmer's even though they left first. Lol. After arrving at tampines mart, jianhong wanted to eat something, so we had a "great time" at the tampines MART macdonald's branch (which is OPEN!). Well, i couldnt get anyone to join us, so we went home instead. Haiz, a wonderful day ending so early. Oh yah, i realised how creepy my neighbourhood looks at night. Also, justin phoned me in the middle of my bath. The ringtone was so strong at this time of the night and it gave me a fright. U know the waterboys movie theme song? The one with the boy shouting "ARE U READY?!!? YEA!!!!!" ? Yea that was my ringtone. Imagine having that in the middle of the night at 2am when silence is the only thing u hear. Of course my answer to the ringtone was "Hell no, i aint ready, #%#% " Lol. I quickly ended the call, finished my bath and went to sleep. Guess who called Lol. Weiqing! Apparently i called him earlier but he didnt pick up, so he was replying to my missed call. Well we chatted quite a bit, from the girls at the prom( yea hehe ;) ), to what happened and the food. Well, it was later than 2.30am when we finally ended the conversation. Well that was my day and here are some photos of me and my friends! Credit goes to weiqing as i stole them from his blog.
