10th Jan: Stolen Stationary and CCA-exhibition

Today was the start of the civics grouping. All of us were divided into 30 over classes and i was put in CG S28, away from all my ngee ann and OG mates.

Actually it wasn't too bad. At least, i thought, it would be good to start making new friends, yes, brand new strangers.

I got a roughly bad start actually. I was walking to the courtyard, enthusiastically thinking about all the nice, warm and friendly people i'll meet. There were labels pasted on the ground on which class is where. So i walked with weiqing, all the way to A1 to S20... S24... and S25 fullstop.

It sure gave me a bad fright. I thought i had seen the notices wrongly. Luckily my classes were at the back.

I found my line quickly, and just to make sure i was in the right place, i asked a girl in front of me, "is this Class S28?".

She said " No, its ... er... OH! yah yah... YAH, this IS S28".

Ok... GL-ed the moment i met the class. Great.

It rained during the morning assembly, but the anouncements continued despite the downpour. The principal even seemed reluctant to dismiss us when we were leaving already. Guess she was disappointed she couldn't give her extremely "funny" speech.

I went to class. Everyone was chionging to the back to "chop" the backseats. Bleh, so i just went to sit in front. Some awfully silent guy was sitting beside me. I tried to warm him abit by saying hi. He didnt see me (or most likely pretended not to).

So... i guess, maybe he wasn't ready for new friends? Sat down for a while... look around the class... and again, i tried saying hello.

Ok this time it was worse. I was facing him, trying to make eye contact. And he went staring motionlessly at the wall as if it was painted with a whole bunch of naked woman(or men if hes gay). Whoa great, my dignity... trambled!

So i thought, whoa, this guy is an ass. Better stay away from him. But after the brief introductions involving the whole class (which seems to pain him alot), i thought, well everyone gives 3 chances, perhaps i should try again. Finally, he gave me this... cold look as if i was doing some VERY wrong and ridiculas. Then I think he thought i had Professor Xaiver who had mind telepathy, and i think! Emphasizing on "THINK!", he finally mouthed the word "hi".

Well, then it was soon break time. I left MORGUE (môrg, noun, A place in which the bodies of persons found dead are kept until identified and claimed or until arrangements for burial have been made) in a hurry, totally forgetting that i left my pencil case under the table.

Well after less than 4hrs, i was back. Found the class occupied by some J2s. Got in, took my pencil case, found it incredibly light. Opened it, found everything missing except a pencil and an worned out eraser.

Not to say that everyone in TPJC is a theif, but wtf? Am i gonna lose my virginity if i stayed here any longer? And i'm already losing my mind, just thinking about this.

Ok, after lunch, dazong, weiqing and mervyn came to my little hut. DZ and WQ played with the PS while M and i surfed porn on the comp (JUST KIDDING OF COURSE, we were burning some kid on one of the games i found).

Wilson has apparently found many new friends. I only saw him once, throughout the day at school. Many friends indeed. ;)

Anyway he came to look for us at my little hut after a while. Together we headed back to school for the CCA exhibition.

Highlights of the day:

Canoeing,
bunch of girls in orange sports singlets came to ask us to join their club. Wq was strongly attracted to one of the girls (he kept talking about it! Non-stop!) Wilson's... err... OGL (yeah right ;) ) even came personally to ask him to join. Dazong was simply mesmerised.

Health and Fitness Club,
Well, the guy talked alot. Basically i understood most of what he said, but i didn't exactly agree throughout. He said squats were dangerous and can stun ur growth. But Squats is the BEST exercise there is and its a waste not to do it. It just takes proper form and some self-awareness and u would be jumping at least 5cm more, just by doing it.

Also, he mentioned that the lats pulldown hurts the shoulders. Yes, most exercises threatens something. For eg. the deadlift, the best exercise for ur lower back and quadriceps, could break ur spine if ur not doing it right, but does that mean we shouldnt do it at all? NO!. Also, the pullup we do for the NAPFA is the exact same thing, just that ur lifting weights rather than ur bodyweight. If it was that bad, we wouldn't do it world-wide, would we?

Well anyway i joined basketball and Heath & Fitness club.
